FFFH toughens requirements for obtaining the A-label

The Joint Council of Creative & Hobby Materials (FFFH) has decided to focus 100% on the A-label, which means that the B-, C- and D-labels will be phased out. At the same time, requirements for obtaining the A-label will become more stringent, which means that, in the future, A-labelled products must comply with even stricter requirements than specified in the current legislation.

For example, no perfumes and concentrates or endocrine disruptors may be added to the products. Additionally, limits applying to e.g. sensitizing agents, solvents and preservatives are now stricter than current legislation.

For more than 10 years the FFFH has been promoting the dissemination, understanding and use of the association's labelling to make it easier for consumers to make safe and environmentally correct choices within the product groups of makeup colours, finger paints, plasticine, moulding material, dry paints, wet paints, glues and varnishes
